Introducing the ABSTRACT Collection

Introducing my abstract collection. A collection that I will always be adding to as I love producing abstract work. The way you can use colour and use texture to create large scale art pieces. 

'ELECTRIC LINES'

One of my first abstract pieces was 'electric lines'. I went into this painting wanting to use the 3 colours of black, white and beige. A palette knife was my best friend during this painting as it really made the art textured and stand out.

'UMBER PALMS'

A piece I really enjoyed was this one. I knew before I went into the painting that I wanted to do a palm tree but I didn't have a plan into how I was going to go about it. I started off by packing the layers on for the background, using beige, yellow and golds. Then I grabbed my palette knife and went for it. With this painting I had to really tell myself to stop and accept that it was finished and it turns out that this is now one of my favourites.
